Closed‑loop Hall Effect Principle – The LAH 100‑P uses a Hall sensor with a feedback coil to compensate the magnetic field produced by the primary current. The feedback enables very accurate measurement by keeping the magnetic flux near zero inside the magnetic core. The secondary output current is proportional to the primary current with a fixed ratio (e.g., 1 mA per 2 A of primary current), allowing a direct current‑mode output.
Galvanic Isolation – The transducer provides electrical isolation between the high‑current primary conductor and the transducer electronics, enabling safe measurement without introducing loading or ground loops.

Primary Current (IP) flows through the transducer’s primary conductor (or PCB trace), generating a magnetic field.
